That's not to say that I don't absolutely love the classics like American Werewolf in London or, you know...Full Moon High, Bad Moon or Howling II...(a girl must have her priorities)...but there are so many in between films, like Legend of the Werewolf which do absolutely nothing for me! You can tell he’s having an absolute ball with his role as amateur paranormal investigator, instead of serving as the usual expert detective or exposition historian. Even though I'm not crazy for the movie, I'd frame that and hang it on a wall.

He certainly doesn't give a "bad" performance but it just doesn't seem like he's bringing his normal "A" game. Etoile dies, changing back into a man while Christine looks on in grief. With his rage and grief spurring his viciousness, Etoile goes on a killing spree, and hides in the sewers the next day. It’s not for the want of trying. Add the first question. What’s strange about that is this was directed by Freddie Francis, and I’ve seen a number of his films before. As an adult he turns into a werewolf and Peter Cushing is called in to investigate.
