They are both really incredible. This should go without saying, but anytime you’re researching trip safety, you should get opinions from multiple sources, including your own government. Don’t be naive about the risks of theft and scams there. Is Ukraine Safe For Travel? In my experience, both Kiev and Lviv are as safe and comfortable as any city in Europe.
