As Tae Ho comes to realize his mistakes, he really does seem sorry for the most part this time around. The drama Missing Nine tells about a girl name Ra Bong-hee, who is the first survivor to be found after an accident with a private plane, Legend Entertainment, that crashed on a remote island. Most agree the actual story and happenings on the island were pretty captivating, exciting, and addicting and that the characters were all extremely well done and engaging. As for the ending, it’s kind of the ultimate check your brain at the door moment. Also following Bong-Hee, is Yoon Tae-Young (played by Yang Dong-Geun) who is the brother to Yoon So-Hee; he is a prosecutor trying to figure out what happened to his sister and Jang Do-Pal (played by Kim Pub-Lae) who is also in with Tae-Ho after becoming the new President to the company; he’s pretty much the real bad guy in the drama making Tae-Ho seem tame. Missing Nine replaces the previous drama which used to fill the slot, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo. 4 months passed, suddenly public shocked by the emergence of a girl who survived the plane crash 4 months ago. Reporter Kim was an interesting man, at first he seemed to be causing mischief, but then he really was trying to assist Joon Oh. Apparently, the writers wanted a happy finale, but I’ve never seen something so forced in my entire life. Then the brush off that she gets from Hee-Kyung and company when she finally starts to get better, and then finally the remainder of the survivors that arrive one by one. I think it worked best when they utilized a Rashomon type plot and had everyone giving different versions of what happened on the island. There were many comedic scenes strung throughout, and though many of them provided laughter, a good chunk of them could have been omitted without any loss to the show.
