The book is a wonderful interior study of General Lee & narrates the story of the War (Between the States) in the way it isn't often told. There is a twist to this central event in American history: Traveller is unaware that Lee lost. I have no words for this amazing book! I really enjoyed the first book, and this was one was no different! Unfortunately I didnt read the first book and as this book starts where the first book finished i do recommend reading the 1st book before reading this one.
This is the second book in the series and picks up where the last one left off, so I'd recommend reading in order.
