I guess Vaporeon still has the saving grace of being noticeably bulkier than Gyarados, and being considerably easier to dodge with. All Eeveelutions have a legendary replacement now, and Espeon can be more or less substituted by Alakazam (and Gyarados for Vaporeon), In reply to (No subject) by WaterYouWading4.
This isn't to say that Gyarados doesn't outclass Vaporeon, but the distance isn't so cut-and-dry. One of the original Eeveelutions, Jolteon is acquired by exposing Eevee to a Thunder Stone. Vaporeon would only share the third place with flareon in metagame relevance. As a fire type attacker, he can take down Registeel, and his fighting type moves are strong against Ice, Ground, Normal and Steel Pokémon as well. Zapdos isn’t bad per se in the Ultra League; it unfortunately just doesn’t have a real place in the current meta. But these are the Pokémon that are currently in the meta right now.
If we're talking about Eeveelutions only: Stat-wise, Espeon is the best. It just so happens to be one of the better Eevelutions you can go with as well. Earthquake do wonders for Garchomp to take down Steel and Ground types. It was the best-available Water attacker. Dark Pulse is a must. e.g. Frenzy Plant is the main selling feature of Venusaur, with an insane 2.22 DPE (Damage Per Energy) and moderate energy cost. Earthquake is generally preferred for coverage against Steel-types that could wall Snorlax, though Superpower provides another cheap solid anti-Steel option.
Snarl‘s high energy generation pairs well with the expensive but powerful Sludge Wave. Well, guess what. Ice Beam has the same Energy cost as Shadow Ball and offers extra coverage against Flying- and (non-Ghost or Steel) Dragon-types instead. Mud Shot offers the highest energy generation in the game at the cost of low damage output. Sky Attack (80 Power/45 Energy) comes out surprisingly quickly, especially considering the higher than average energy gain of Dragon Tail, and hits fairly hard. With its incredible bulk and fantastic moves, it’s one to watch out for. It charges extremely fast. What most people should look at when determining which Eeveelutions are best are stat distribution and learnset. Registeel was the favorite choice of many trainers in Great League. His best bet is Psycho Cut as fast move and Shadow Ball/Psystrike/ Ice Beam as charge moves. Sky Attack is an absolute staple on Lugia as it grants good coverage, good power, and allows it to act as a shield-shredder to a certain degree. It can hit you fast and hard and at least has some really good Special Defense to fall back on.

Copyright (C) GamePress All Rights Reserved. The problem, is the same with Mewtwo: he is too squisky he will faint if you look at him. Gyarados has much higher DPS. I would say Flareon is much closer to Moltres/Entei than Vaporeon to Gyarados. Vaporeon is the complete opposite of the Eevelutions covered so far. Considering its high Special Attack stat, its Special moveset is kind of lacking, with Thunder and Thunderbolt being the only two notable Electric-type moves. Introduced in Gen IV, Glaceon evolves when leveled up near an Ice Rock. As a gym defender before Raikou and Zapdos existed. Eevee, along with its … There were only two reasons I ever used Vaporeon: 1. Basically, is the only non-Poison-type charge move available to Alolan Muk, with a perk of also being the most powerful Dark-type charge move in the game. You should always go with Mud Shot and Earthquake/ Fire Blast/ Solar Beam. Espeon in its effective raids. Jolteon by Zapdos + Raikou, and Flareon by Moltres and Entei, not sure about Ho-oh. What do you think of Sirfetch’d
He’s at his best when your opponent has no shields, so he should be saved until the end of a game to close it out. Overall, it’s not a bad Pokémon, as has excellent moves. Pokémon GO Hub is the biggest Pokémon GO news site, publishing several informative guides, analysis, and news articles every month. Instead of beating you with its strength and quickness, Vaporeon allows trainers to take a different approach in battle. One of the two Gen II Eeveelutions, Espeon is one of the most popular in the bunch. Iron Head (70 Power/50 Energy) doesn’t hit much for super effective damage, but it comes out decently fast and hits decently hard with STAB, making it Dialga’s bread-and-butter. Thunder Shock is the one and only fast move available to Melmetal. Dragon Breath may be lacklustre and outclassed in PVE, but in PVP it sports 4 DPT (Damage Per Turn) and 3 EPT (Energy Per Turn). So Basically, he is a Registeel-Killer.
You don’t need more to say about this one. You may still argue that jolteon is the most useful of the eevoltions, closely followed by espeon. I have a 4 star (perfect IV) eevee, and I wanted to know which eevee evolution is best for the GO battle league. It appears we have different opinions as to what makes a Pokemon better than others. Now, I’d say Espeon is the most important. © 2016-2019 Pokémon GO Hub | ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, A comprehensive guide on how to trigger EX Raids, A Comprehensive Guide to S2 Cells and Pokémon GO, Best Pokemon to use Technical Machines (TMs) on, The Potential of Pokémon GO PvP Becoming an Esport, Galarian Ponyta and Sirfetch’d Added To Pokémon GO, November 2020 Raid Bosses, Spotlight Hours and Research Breakthrough, Staying safe while playing Pokémon GO during the Pandemic: Winter Edition. He said "All Eeveelutions have a legendary replacement now", but there is no good legendary replacement for Vaporeon right now. If you have one of those, be sure to give it some love and equip it with Shadow Claw/Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw/Ancient Power. Even some boys like Sylveon! It may have a popular design, but in terms of usefulness, Glaceon starts off this list. However, a -1 ATK and DEF debuff on the user makes it risky to use.
Sylveon is my favorite Eevee evolution. We cannot tell you what team to use, as it up to you. Even when resisted, Blast Burn would still have a greater EPT value than neutral Dragon Claw, but not when it would be doubly resisted. The best option to go with Melmetal is Thunder Shock as it fast move with Rock Slide and Thunderbolt or Superpower as charge moves. It’ll more likely than not hit last in battle and though it can deal a good amount of Special damage with moves like Ice Beam and Blizzard, its longevity has to come into question. Coverage against popular Dragon-types is also quite valuable. The comparison is between eevolutions, not between water attackers in general. Ultra League’s top threat by far. Also, while Alakazam can be obtained from raids, it is not an easy solo, and finding someone else to help isn’t necessarily easy either. Extrasensory could be used to not get walled too hard by Fairy-type Pokémon and to deal some damage too. The problem is, Thunderbolt is a legacy move that Zapdos only learned during Zapdos Day back in 2018. With the addition of two useful moves added to its moveset on Torchic Community Day, Blaziken notably moves up the ranks thanks to a faster moveset. On…. High Special and Speed stats coupled with low Defense and HP almost assure that Jolteon won’t be around for too long if it fails to OHKO its opponent. Always a popular Pokémon, Eevee is a favorite of many trainers due to its plethora of evolutions. However, since both attacks charge so slowly and Groudon’s biggest niche is in its frighteningly powerful Earthquake, these attacks are less likely to see use in practice. As a steel type, Registeel is far more superior, but due to this double type, he can resists Dragon-type moves, which turns him to be great against them. Dialga is here for one reason, and one reason only: To counter Giratina and any other dragon types your opponent throws at you. Hydro Pump (130 Power/75 Energy) takes longer to charge, has lower base damage per energy, and lacks STAB, but it does allow Lugia to perform better against a number of potential threats, such as Steel- and Rock-types. Always a popular Pokémon, Eevee is a favorite of many trainers due to its plethora of evolutions. Typing-wise, Jolteon is the best.
Earthquake and Future Sight both cost a steep 65 energy, but the former provides wide coverage while the latter takes advantage of STAB. Hydro Pump (130 Power/75 Energy) is another solid option here, sporting high damage plus STAB that’s charged at a fairly high rate that can severely punish early shield use. It is important to note that these are the Top Tier Pokémon based on local community’s choices and a lot of investigation and research. It’s one of the slower Eeveelutions, but has high enough Special Defense where it attacking second won’t be too detrimental to you in battle. Its stats are 261 ATK and 3,170 CP.
